abstraction
a message from the artist
My exploration of abstraction has been a study of vulnerability. Having previously been tempted by the assumption that my work must have a clear narrative bestowed from the creator unto the viewer, rejecting this assumption has been liberating. studying methods such as zendoodling allowed my work to speak for itself - freeing not only my creative process but also the eyes of the viewer.
